Merc,
If you can't let me know and I'll get it and meet you near the border. I need to get my passport so I can go into Canada. Got to have it before next summer so I can go on my cross country ride from Washington to Maine and then back to Washington. One route goes thru Canada for about 600 miles. Can't wait it is a 1,800 mile trip one way.

If I had found that Crower cam before I'd bought the Comp cam I'd gone with the Crower.

Merc,
Anytime dude anytime, that is what friends are for and we may only be internet friends to this point but, I still consider you as a good friend. I like a reason for a road trip.

Off topic

Same goes here bud, one day we will meet. I/we would love to host a DF meet and greet weekend here at the campground but everybody is so far away from us.

On topic; So op with that first cam Wm showed you, you can just use the stock valve springs with it, new is nice but you should have a valve spring tester in school to test the springs and see if they are within spec, if they are just reuse them.

If your talking about the 34414, then yes. I was looking at that one too, and we do have a valve spring tester at school and that'll be cool if I can reuse my springs too. I'll talk some more with Crower on that cam and find some more info on it. Thanks Wildman

When I was looking for a cam I never came across this one from Crower but I sure like the spec's on it.

Let's talk about cams a little bit too. The reason for liking that 34414 is the cam profile. Duh!!! I like it because of the difference between the intake & exhaust lobes. This will allow the engine to breathe better which is why when building my engine I chose to run a higher ratio rockers on the exhaust side. Learning how these things work and the effect each change has is what I'm talking about when I tell you to read and study. We on here will help but you need to help yourself too.

Let us know what the folks from Crower tell you about the cam.
