I have yet to get any instructions with any of the Sj parts I have ordered. I did get a big a** sticker though should be good for at least 500hp lol.

 

Only if you drill from the inside out, through a hole, angling it, and then putting an oversized bolt through after ;o)

ALMOST finished the TB kit. I was putting in the TB (which, btw, way does the bend face? I'm assuming down?) into the axle end thinking it'd slip in nice and easy. Don't know why I thought that. No go with the step down spacers. I'll have to file the mount a bit tomorrow - too tight to get in a flap disk. Also, of course, I don't have allen keys big enough to fit either of the last two bolts.

But, the mount is up. Not torqued to spec yet, but it's up and going! So it's coming along. Coil spring installation next (and I will need to go back and re-secure the brake line that was moved IOT obtain the first mounting hole for the TB) and that shouldn't be too bad.

 

The bend goes up to clear the diff pumpkin. I just went in with a pry bar and opened the area up to gain the clearance needed to fit that end in, filing might take a bit.

Take that little bugger off the line and drill it out in a bench vise.

 

Well that is good to know! Hopefully I'll have it in tomorrow, along with coals, springs, and the steering conversion.

I'll toss on the old wheels just to take a picture, then it's onto the other parts.

I'm actually on amazon at the moment sourcing out future parts - headers and exhaust. Trying to decide what to go for, best bang for buck and all that.

 

Gibsons nuff said, going on 7 years now still just fine, install them and forget them.

Thats a great price for those, I have the stainless and as posted they are just fine. Just make sure you wipe them clean before you start it up for the first time, something I forgot to do and that messed up the chrome finish. There are four bolts that are a pita do.

 

I'll keep it in mind. I remember reading on here about a true dual setup with an H pipe. I'm not 100% set on how I want to do it, but I know what is on there isn't functional at the moment. I figure get the headers, then sort it out. I'd prefer a true dual over a 1-to-2, but if I go that way I'll be sure to ditch the stock y-pipe. Need to start thinking about it so I can flow right into that project and get this beast rolling soonest.

 

dodge offroad sells cam bolts for 20 bucks for the pair. google their store, and give them a call.
