Default 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 won't shift

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup that runs rough between 40-50mph with Overdrive on but when I have Overdrive off it runs just fine. Why would I be having these problems? Any ideas would be greatly appreicated.

I'll move your post to the 2nd gen ram section. Read the plenum sticky. Welcome to DF.

Engine miss due to blown plenum. Probably bad O2 sensor, and clogging cat as well. Take a look down your throttle body. Bet you find oil in there.

Are you guys saying its the plenum itself or the plenum gasket that may need replacing?
