welcome to df.
what is your problem? no idle or surging idle or other?

i had a cold start surging idle problem. after replacing 3 iac's, i replaced the TPS and it fixed my problem.

also make sure you are not breaking the iac. don't twist, turn, pull, or push on the pintle. also don't operate it plugged into the harness and not installed. i tried that. bad move.

Check the wiring from PCM to IAC. make sure no wires are screwed up, and the connections are clean, and tight.

Cleaning the TB REALLY WELL is a good plan.

Go with a different brand IAC......

+1 ... What brand have you been using ? And you are disconnecting the negative battery cable before removing and installing new one right? Do that when you clean the TB as well.

I'm having the same problem. Sometimes it shuts off when I come up to a stop sign and the idle starts dropping, then at 0 it'll shut off.

I've been told it's my IAC too.

I changed my IAC 3 times before I realized my battery was causing me all my grief. If your battery isn't providing the sensors with the proper voltage it will do some wacky things. I would check your battery.
