Default Replacing Headlights

How do I choose the right headlight assembly for a 1998 Ram 1500 standard cab 4WD?

Rockauto has "Various MFR" and "TYC". Is one noticeably better?

They also have "Regular Inventory" $27; Econoline ($30); CAPA Certified ($64). What are the differences? (the info button on Rockauto hasn't been very helpful).

Thanks,

Get the TYCs. All I've heard of them, they're good.

As for your second question, I've no idea, I've been wondering that myself.

amautoparts has brand new OEM style headlights that are adjustable for 80 bucks for the set. I got them and am more then pleased.

Ham Bone, can you get put up some close up pics of those, including the adjustable portions? I've always been on the hunt for that just in case I finally demolish mine.

Here's a link

They are EXACTLY like the OEM. And now they're cheaper. I will take some pics later today and post them in this thread

CAPA certified parts are supposed to match OEM fit and finish whereas other manufacturers parts are going to be a crap shoot.

I got the AMAutoparts headlights as well. Picked up the ones that had the side markers, and the whole nine yards. They even came with all the bulbs. Around 80 bucks shipped to my door. They are exact factory replacements. (minus the yellowing) I have had them for quite a while now, and I am happy with them.
