It's just a plunger type switch. It unscrews out of the t-case. Pull it, make sure it can move freely.

Welcome to DF!

So found the problem. Sorry forgot my password so couldn't respond fast enough.

Guess what? The vac lines were the problem..haha
I over looked the two going to the manifold.

They were touching the back if the block and melted shut.
Bought the right kind of vac lines and ran them through the frame.

PROBLEM SOLVED

I think I may be the only person in the world to not have 4wd (or any other standard dodge problems other than Trans) from my dodge. I only use 4wd every once in awhile and it always does what it's suppose to do

Give it time. The cad unit will eventually fail. They usually always do.

Mine gets sluggish in really cold weather. So, since they seem to think that our roads never need to be plowed out here, I just leave it in 4wd most of the time. Once I get on decent roads, I will switch out. Provided there ARE any decent roads.

3-12" of accumulation expected today, followed by freezing rain/sleet. Couple that with high winds, again..... and I suspect my truck will be staying in the garage for a few days. Again.

On occasion it takes it's time lighting up the 4wd light but hasn't failed me yet, I'm so glad we don't get snow like that around here
