Trimming Required
Hey,
So I got the truck back today. It cost more than I want too and more than the quote, but I don't have much fight in me at the moment. Looking for a bit of feedback / advice.
Here are some pictures of the front end, showing the rub, as well as a quick video showing how much it pushes in. HeyYou, I know you suggested pulling the bumper forward so I will likely try that if I figure out how, I just haven't had any time to look into it.

And a video of the driver side wheel being turned right - it might not be easy to see, but it pushes the bumper in (clicking on the video should take you to my photobucket to see it I think...?):

If people have suggestions, they need to be free. Not many are aware, but a quick rundown of my situation... I guess I'm venting a bit since I can't at home... about a month ago my finished basement flooded. This was due to improperly installed drain tile and bad location for a drain pipe (when the house was built 20 years ago). Insurance didn't cover any of it. Had to excavate a large amount of my property. We're still paying for that. Then, last week, Julia's (my spouse) father called... not with good news. Despite having a fuel tank (in the house we have in Halifax) inspected by a company the day prior to filling, her oil tank ruptured when they filled it with 900L of furnace oil in it. All of it went down the drain. Insurance is not covering it. It's a huge environmental mess and the city will be billing us. We already tore everything out of her basement... they have to cut open the cement floor and take soil samples. It's a duplex... so... maybe we just bought out the neighbour who is trying to sell. We're going to try and sue the inspection company, but as of this moment... we're going to be bankrupt and are not even sure how to pay for food after paying for all the stuff this weekend.
So yeah... suggestions for the truck, if you have them... I'm not sure if it'll rub on the back side, but it's close. The lift shop said it might if going in reverse... I don't know right now. Also still need to get the exhaust done. The truck had no power either, so will need to look into that. And the pedal was soft, went all the way to the floor though it is braking. I might just need to bleed them a bit more. Yeah, awesome stuff!

Dude this sucks bad.
So for the tires rubbing on the bumper yes you can try to pull out the bumper see if you can gain the room you need, or you can set the steering stops out so you can't turn that far. If it is going to rub on the back of the fender that would happen under braking as that would push the diff back in the wheel well and that movement should not be more than say 1/8th inch.
We have been down this soil sample stuff with the gov as well, not good not good at all. If they find fuel oil in the ground at all they will dig until they find no more. The whole house could come down if thats the case. What is under the house for soil sand, clay or????
I have a call into you yap at you soon.

First, get a written Refusal of Coverage from you insurance company.
Second, go see a lawyer. Most will give you a free consult, to see if you have a case.
Take all the documentation you can get together. No such thing as too much information here. See what the lawyer has to say.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune man. That truly sucks.
As for your truck.....
That tire IS going to hit if the suspension cycles at all. Cut-out fender flares may be in your future. (yeah, I know, not free....)
Pulling the bumper forward should deal with that aspect of it. Not sure what to do about the back side though.
