Trimming Required
Hey All,
My truck is in the shop getting re-geared, all is going well. But I received a phonecall from the shopping saying that my truck will require extensive trimming, including bumper.
I had brought up tires and wheel combos before, and it seemed all was good - no one thought there would be trimming required. Here is the wheel: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BRW-997615540
And here is the tire:
The truck is a 99 Sport. Does it sound right, the requirement to do such extensive trimming? Needing to get back to them soon, so hoping for a bit of feedback. Is trimming usually a huge issue?

Shoot, my bad. My apparent rush to get information left me forgetting some vital information!
The lift is a 5" skyjacker. And yes, the tires are 35"-ish.
Should also mention - I installed the lift, all went well (minus fighting a lot with old parts). I even put on the back tires - looked good to me. It is in the shop for re-gearing as I said, plus they are going to handle the EMS Offroad manual hub conversion due to some parts not wanting to budge and me wanting to get it into the shop. So the front tires were never on. This being said, it didn't look too out of proportion. I think I was _MOST_ confused when he said the rear would require trimming too.

Well, the link to the wheels say the backspacing is 4in / offset is -38mm. No one seemed to think this was an issue when I discussed it before unless I missed it / misunderstood it.

Which is what a lot of people seem to be saying, including Merc who I just spoke to a little while ago. I'm half wondering if the shop hasn't put them on yet and is just visually looking / thinking it will require trimming.
They are installing this: http://www.emsoffroad.com/store/inde...roducts_id=262
Which is the manual lockhub kit. Here are the instructions if anyone is curious:

This shouldn't be causing any issue, should it? I don't see this as changing where the tires sit, or would it?
PS. My connection at work is horrible, so I've been trying to load those instructions for a bit...
