Get one from the dealer. The aftermarket fellers are not always the correct flow rate.

Yes, I second the Mopar PCV valve.

Also, 1 quart per change is completely within normal consumption, especially with 170k on it. You are worried for nothing, unless you see blue smoke. I always buy one 5qt jug and an extra quart every change and just add throughout the life cycle. When the quart is gone, I plan the next change. Also, my truck loves to drink 10w30, since about 60k, so I have used thicker oil ever since. 15w40 was the least usage, but too thick for winter. I like the compromise of 10w40 Maxlife.

Thank you all for the advise. My PCV was in rough shape, and there was oil in the hose, so I'm thinking that was a good chunk of my problem right there. I replaced it with the OEM Valve from the dealer. I replaced it 2-3 years ago, so I didn't think it would fail so quick.

Gonna try a bit thicker oil too, perhaps 10w40. Currently running Quaker state 10w30 High mileage.

any of you guys know the part # for the valve stem seals for a 94 5.9
