$1000

Wheel cylinder replacement isn't that big a deal, if you have a few hand tools you can do it for the price of the replacement part...

But in all seriousness I would think you'd see 1hr labor charge at an honest shop..... (plus part)

Gotta bleed the brakes too.... so, probably three hours labor, wheel cylinder, and brake fluid.

Of course, the shop will want to sell you rear shoes too..... and probably some brake lines.

if you have the tools, and a place to work on it, do it yourself. Otherwise, probably around 200 or so. (probably more.)

You can get a wheel cylinder for as low as $2.95 from rock auto, probably like $15 from an autoparts store. Unbolt the old one and quickly install the new one, limiting the amount of time the brake line is disconnected. You should only have to bleed that one wheel cylinder. I replaced one on my truck and it took maybe an hour at the most, including bleeding.

Replacing a wheel cylinder isn't that bad. You don't need a lot of knowledge to do it yourself and you could save a couple hundred possibly. Lots of guys here can help you through it
