Isn't the kegger mod for higher end torque? The stock one was made for low-end I thought

I'm hoping to balance that with a good cam. I'd like to build on a big fat torque curve.

Kegger mod will move the power band up a couple hundred RPM. Easily compensated for with the correct cam.

I'd like to bump it up to about 400 ft/lb peak torque but really looking to fatten the curve quiet a bit.

To what, I've got 4.88s now. That said you should see how badass the dyno numbers look on stock size tires

I think that's the best you are going to do on the stock axles. To go any deeper, you would need to bump to D60's.

Forced induction would give you the numbers you are looking for.

Aye, I figured. And to be honest, I have not come across a situation in wheeling or towing that what came on the truck has not been enough for. Alot of that grace is that I use factory wheels and thus factory backspacing. I also have a long arm kit. And I am not of the camp that if you get stuck, using throttle is your best bet...it's not, it costs money.

I hope you can get to a dyno and show off that 400tq when you've got it finished.
I've got a top end kit with cam and EQ monster magnums ready to go in when the weather warms up. The EQs were over $900 from Odessa Clearwater. If you don't see em on ebay, give em a call they usually have some on backorder but they go quick. They come loaded and adjust spring pressure to match your cams lift. No need to buy springs, seals, keepers, etc
