Whatever you do, I just saw my second EAGLE crank broke in half today, power level was in the 400s but nothing outrageous and no nitrous or FI.

It lets you continue to drive your truck, while you build a better motor.

Eagle cranks are known to be weak this is old news, the Mopar performance ones are also known to break. I use a Scat crank in both of my 5.9 motors.

Also what were the reasons for it to break? What rpm was it at? What comp ratio was it at? Did the motor have oil in it? Was it a new motor? Was it the builders fault? So many possible reasons and not one explanation. Getting on here and just saying I saw a second one break without any explanation is just..........

Yes sir. After machine work, a 3000k r block, and just about the best of everything. I was starting a sled puller build and I do not have time right now to devote to the sport so project is on hold.

Ahh I see, well for 14K that's 1000hp cummins and a built trans...alot of diy and taking your time picking parts, but diesel power has done articles on "builds on budgets" Personally, after about 4-5k the gasser has to go if I haven't achieved my goals.
