these pics were after i pulled rear half of shaft off and removed excess gease and made sure there was no binding of splines on the rear shaft drove truck around my yard for a few minutes and hit a few good bumps
I would like to see a pic of the bearing, and the front part of the shaft, from a couple feet away. All I can see there, is that the bearing is pushing out..... we knew that. I wanna see the bigger picture.
well im gonna pull the driveshaft off the truck tomorrow after work bring it to my local drive shaft shop and he is gonna check the phasing? balance it and make sure there is no binding and then install a new carrier bearing and housing, i really hope this works
well i got the entire driveshaft and carrier bearing off the truck and looks like when the shop pressed on the bearing it was not on perfect straight it has a little run out in it, gonna replace the entire carrier bearing and have shaft balanced and maybe will be fixed.
Truck seems all good in the drive shaft department now go new bearing and housing on the drive shaft needed to be cut and phased and re welded and straightened in a few pots and balanced and now no issues a bit costly but nice to drive it again
