I have a 1995 dodge ram 1500 5.9 magnum. I just replaced the plenum with a hughes plenum thinking that would fix the blue smoke that I shoot out at high rpms. It only smokes when I hit about 3k rpms and its blue and black. Haven't done the valve seals yet which will probably will be my next project. I'm hoping its not the piston rings blowing oil by...... I have 190k miles on the motor. Tell me what do you guys think!

Will do that tomorrow! It only smokes when I floor it and on start up from being cold. I've heard valve seals will suck in oil when floored also. But then again I've heard that rings will do the same thing. I just don't want it to be the rings. I just replaced the plenum and painted the intake, motor, and valve covers. Which are more likely to go out, the seals or rings?
