Default Front End Work

Hey guys I I have a few questions about my front end steering and suspension install I am currently starting on. First I am having trouble getting the lower ball joint to break loose from the knuckle...my pickle fork is already spreading apart so I figured ill probably just get a new one unless there is another way to break it loose. Second is there a specialty tool to remove the top strut nut or should I use and impact and try to hold the top half of the strut from spinning with the nut. So far that is all but I will keep everyone updated as I go and if I have anymore questions. Thanks for all your help guys.

for the nut ues, just put a wrench on it and take the nut off. and for the ball joint, loosin the nut but leave on by a couple threads, and take your BFH and wack the side of the knuckle it goes through. it will drop down. then just take the nut off and put it out.

u gotta hold it all in place with the wrench. put the wrech on the top of the shock, and put ur ratchet or air gun on the nut and take it off.

Get a press. But it on and crank it down. The. Smack the side where the bj is with a sledgehammer. Whack it hard. You'll hear it go. tighten down press again and repeat

Hey I'm having trouble with this inner tie rod end I couldn't get a tie rod puller to fit on there so should I try a 3 Jaw puller or what ?

Two hammers. Big ones preferably. Hold one against one side of the part that the tie rod stud goes thru, SMACK the other side with the other hammer. Two or three hits, and the tie rod pops right out.
