Default 97 Dodge ram lighting issue

Asking for a little help with my headlight issue on my 97 Dodge ram 1500. My headlights started to cut out on me when I tilted my steering wheel all the way down, but would come back on when I tilted it back up. Now they don't work at all no matter where the tilt is positioned. My high beams work just fine though.
Does anybody have a suggestion on what the problem could be?

Welcome to DF. Most likely the wiring in the column is starting to short. Moving to the 2nd gen Ram section. They can help you.

Pull the covers from around the steering column. Have a look at the wires in the multifunction switch connector. They are probably pulling loose. Common problem.
