temp sensor

You get 5 volts on both sides of the temp sensor? That's either a bad sensor, or a short in the wiring somewhere.

No. Five volts on one side only. 1mv out less on the other. Now what? Bad pcm? If it was a short I would have 5 on both sides right?

Correct. I have no clue what the correct voltages for output vs. temp are. I suppose the next step would be to plug a scanner into it, and read the data. See what the pcm thinks engine temp is, and see if the gauge in the dash agrees.
