ok, well he does have the front o2 but not the rear. I have neither. I have noticed that the intake manifold on the new (used) engine only has one vacuum port on the passenger side. Also it has only one (2 prong) temp sensor where my sons had two ports and two sensors (1 prong and 2 prong) does this mean I have to switch intakes?

All done runs, strong!!! fan seems louder then before?!?! nothing squeaking or abnormal just seems very loud. Also the idle is very high. Is this normal? will it take a few for the computer to adjust? I cant believe how much better it runs/pulls!!!!

Is that the original fan clutch?

How high is it idling? Have a vacuum leak somewhere?

Its the fan from his 5.2 engine, I put everything from his on the newer block and heads. idle is at about 1100. He is looking to see if I forgot any vacuum lines. Its not here right now but I was pretty sure I hooked everything back up. No codes have been thrown, I thought for sure with the different size it would but nada so far

idle is fine, now in regards to that fan. Is there a electric conversion other then the $543.00 one I found?

There are a variety of options, and there are several threads drifting about detailing a couple members adventures. See what a search here turns up.
