Default Help

Ok this morning my 1999 Ram 1500 v6 manual transmission started lugging and wanting to stall when starting out and making a loud rattling noise sound seems to come from the lower firewall area and just was having a hard time getting to speed but I was able to get it into 5th and run fine up to 60 mph to get home at slower speeds and 1,2, and 3rd gears it went to rattling and lugging again. idle fine and revs fine with clutch in.

Thanks for any help

You have a 99? You can try cycling the ingtion three times. And then leave it "on" and the codes should flash on the odometer.

Don't start truck btw.

I think all of the obd2 trucks can do that.

Buy a code reader. Best $20 you will ever spend.

Then you need to fix that first.
