By using this stud it lets you thread the 5/16ths size into the head and then utilize a roller rocker that fits a 3/8ths stud.

Thanks another question. Would getting the ones that bolt right in be just as good as adjustable?

And are our motors stud rockers or pedistral? Bc I went on Harland sharps website and it says pedistral are the direct replacement?

You asked a good Q

Our truck use a pedestal mount both factory and for the non-adjustable rollers. Once you go to adjustable RR's then they become a stud mount RR. If you go to a stud mount you must get/use the pushrod guide plates.

To use those you would need to use the stud kit that I posted earlier on from Crane Cams, and you will have to set valve lash, so yes and no about bolt on.

Alright I read somewhere about our trucks being stud mounts that's why I was so confused. Would u recommend adjustable ones?
Or just go with 1.7 non adjustable?
My main concern is price.

I like the ability to be able to adjust my rockers so thats one reason I went that way. If I was going to spend $400 on a fixed RR then I might as well spend the little more and get the adjustable one's. I think Wildman and just myself are the only ones using adjustable RR's. Up to you on what to get. The part numbers I posted are adjustable and they come out to close to the same price as the non-adjustable rocker.

Gotta agree with this sentiment. If the price difference ain't that much, adjustable is most definitely the way to go.
