New here and to dodges passenger head lamp wont work
ok im going to try and give the best explanation on this. i bought an 01 dodge ram 2500 the seller told me the truck had hids but were removed and that the passenger side light wouldnt work after returning it to stock bulbs. the other day i was looking to see if bulb was bad but it was fine there was a broken wire so i got a universal pigtail and replaced the socket no change. i hit the bright lights and the filiment is barely getting hot. i looked at all the fuses under hood and whats beside the door they all look ok. the bright light indicator is on and wont go off even in dim mode. could the multifunction switch be bad. please help i gotta get an inspection and my tag monday before i leave out for work again

Probably when the HIDs were installed, they had to alter the wiring some. (sure sounds that way.....)
On your truck, power is supplied to the headlights, and the switch actually provides ground path. Going to assume you do NOT have a Sport? as you didn't mention that.....
Power is supplied to the headlights via two fuses, and two wires. Left side is Fuse C, and power wire is violet. Right side is fuse B, and power wire is Violet with red trace.
Violet with white trace is ground for low beams. (both sides)
Red with Orange trace is ground for high beams. (and again, both sides.)
Got a volt/ohm meter? Test light?
