Either buy another water pump (oring comes with it), get one at a hardware store (measure OD of the inlet tube so you know what size oring to get), or use RTV silicone like I did...holds up just fine,

When I replaced my water pump, I replaced the tube, as my original tube was rusty and worn. Here is a link to a new one - it should come with the O-ring:

I just ordered a new water pump from rock auto, it includes the pump, gasket, o-ring, and pipe.

You can get the whole tube, with the o-ring, from your parts store for about 15 bucks. (in the help section) The o-ring is skinny.... not a standard size. (yep, been there, done that....)

Same here. I didn't feel like buying the tube when all I needed was the o-ring, so I did like Matt and used RTV. Been a couple of years ago and still no problem with it.

I need to have the plenum fixed this summer, so im going to have the timing chain done, as will as the water pump. Im also going to have the oil pump replaced because Ive read a few threads here were oil pumps have failed on higher mileage engines, so I didn`t want to take any chances with my engine having 167000 miles on it, so im having it replaced also.

Either you're looking for this: VICTOR REINZ 151118601 (Coolant Pipe O-ring) or FEL-PRO ES72872 (Water Inlet Gasket)
