Take out the two bolts, unplug the electrical connector, and pull it out. It's in a really fun position though..... some folks go from underneath, other folks go from on top. Rumor has it, they have alan head bolts, as well as the hex head. (don't recall the size though.) So, whichever tool you have on hand, that you can get in there with..... might need some pliers to pull the sensor itself, if it isn't attached to the bracket any more.
Get a mirror, or contort yourself around, so you can see down there. I bet the bracket is still there. That is the only thing holding it in, unless the PO glued it, or some such.
