Assuming 225/75/16 is the original tire size which the speedometer was calibrated to, the following would be the speed corrections:

IF Speedo reads 60 mph

225/75/16 = 29.29" tall = 60.00 actual mph

245/75/16 = 30.47" tall = 62.42 actual mph (Road speed is 4% faster than Speedo)

265/70/17 = 31.61" tall = 64.75 actual mph (Road speed is 7% faster than Speedo)

I was running 265/75R16's, then put a 4.11 rear end in. It made my speedometer read 29mph when I was actually travelling 25mph. I just got my 285/75R16's today, so when my new wheels come in, I'll let you know the outcome.

I put 24 inch rims on my ram 1500 with low pro tires. ...... Sorry I don't have much more info than that and I'm sure allot of you would think it's a travesty to put those rims on my tires but would u be under or over on OG MPHs from the stock wheels on a 2000 dodge ram 1500 5.2L V8 manual transmission.

After putting the 285/75R16 Tires on with 4.11 gears, the speedometer reads 2mph slower than my actual speed while going 25-30pmh. I haven't got to test it at Highway speeds. Hope this is helpful.

Welcome to DF!
I was going thru this post from 2014 and ran across your comment above about get your build sheet. I would like to find the one for my truck. I went to the FAQ section
but was unsucessful in my search. Could you enlighten me as to what would be the correct phrase to use in this case? Thanks.
