Yes it is the one on the other valve cover.

It should not attract the magnet. If it does it means you have a stock valley pan, and chances are pretty good that you'll have a blown gasket at that many miles.

Nope. We have you stick a magnet in, because the factory plate is steel/tin or something and it is magnetic. The aftermarket pans are aluminum and is not magnetic. There is really no other way to tell without taking it off.

If you see oil pooling in the bottom of the manifold, chances are good it has not been repaired yet.... and needs to be.

Anyone got an idea of what the intake manifold bolts have to be torqued down too?

Grab the 01 service manual. Torque values, and sequencing are in there. Intake bolts need torqued in steps. Best to have the instructions right there handy.
