98 ram 2500 smokes on start up

Okay so I reinstalled intake mani and every thing and now the thing sounds like there is a poping sound coming from engine bay when on the gas I also replace the cap and rotor and wires when I had mani off. Now tranny also feels like it shifts hard any thought need this thing to be running good please help

Check your TV cable adjustment.

Do you get a horrid vibration when the truck hits Overdrive? If so, you have a miss. Recheck firing order, and plug wire routing.
