Drinking gas
temporarily unplug front o2 sensor harness. it'll trigger a cel for bad O2 sensor, but ignore that and see if it runs any better or smells any better. that'll force it to run on default tuning and stay in open loop. it'll run a little less than optimum, but it should run fine.
remove the spark plugs and see if any one or two look bad or wet. that would indicate lack of spark or some kind of injector problem.
i doubt that map or tps is bad w/o a cel saying so.

Years ago I had a 80's something Buick skylark that did the same thing as you are describing and it was a cracked mechanical fuel pump that was dumping gas into the engine oil. I know almost all of these trucks have the fuel pump in the gas tanks but was wanting to point that out just in case you have the fuel pump on your engine instead of the tank.
Yes, any part can go bad, and not always trigger a code. I have had it happen to me on my 08 dodge ram.
Don't remember the O2 sensor brand. DO rememeber its not a Bosch. Got it from RockAuto. I will run some of these checks and see what I can come up with.
