Regardless of not knowing exactly which bolt that would be. I do not see how that would help remove the rotor. And the service manual says nothing regarding the steering knuckle.

In this video, it just slides right off.

I'm not saying you are wrong. Just a little clarification would be helpful.

And man, do I wish one of these damn projects would just go smooth. Just one. Ha.

I'm sorry Idk why I said steering knuckle.

So you removed the cotter pin and nut right?

If you're rotor won't come off. It's probably just stuck and needs a little encouragement from a hammer. A decent smack to the back should pop it loose

I have encouraged the crap out of this thing. and it just slides back and forth probably 1/4 inch.

I was trying to save the rotors, but I suppose I will just continue to beat the crap out of it with a hammer and will end up replacing them too.

I love this website man, you guys are all real helpful. Thanks. I will let you know if I have any other issues. But I hope not, cuz I haven't gotten very far as is.

Hmm, something is not right. Its possible you ruined the rotor anway driving around on it. Sounds like you deformed the bearing or something. It should slide off and on. Its obviously catching on something.

You could heat the rotor up around the bearing and shaft and see if that helps any

See if you can rent a slide hammer from your local parts store. They might call it a 'hub puller'... had a nice adapter that bolts to the lug nuts, and then you can use the hammer action to pull the rotor. have a VERY careful look at the spindle once you get the rotor off......

Got it all taken care of.

Turns out I was just babying my car too much and needed to persuade that hub to come off a little more. So after a bit of prying, it popped off. Install was easy as can be.

I loved being able to do the full job for less than $15 in parts. Thank you both for your help.
So I am off until I run into my next issue. Ha. Or I can find something I can help someone else out with.

Great community. Thanks.

You haven't been doing this real long (as compared to some of us) but, you already have it figured out.

Ain't that just the way it goes though?
