I have a 2000 Ram 3500 with a Cummins and a 6 speed, it has quit starting with the key switch, if I jump the solenoid terminal to the battery the starter runs and starts the engine. What should I look for to correct this issue?
Thanking you all in advance for your advice,

David

I'd try replacing the solenoid since you were able.to.start it by jumping that

Go for the starter relay in the power distribution center first. Being able to short the solenoid at the starter, and have it crank the engine shows that part is actually working as it should.
