Default 2001 ram 5.9mag rattle/cracking noise and black smoke at high rpm

Hey I'm new to the forum I drive a 2001 dodge ram sport with the 5.9 magnun. At high rpms so 3500+ it starts making a loud rattle/cracking noise and as soon as the sound starts I can see black smoke. I have had the timing chain replaced very recently so that should not be the problem I'm not sure what it is. And help would be good.
Thanks

Black, or blue? Have you fixed your plenum yet? Does it sound like marbles in a tin can?

It's definitely black. No I haven't fixed it yet but it's on my list. Not really it's kind of a harsh sound like something snapping. Idk if it could be the lifters or the valves or something. Iv heard the valve springs are terrible on these years

Black indicates running rich. Could be a sensor problem..... Not sure on the noise, could you post a video, with audio?

Upload your video to someplace like photobucket, or imageshack. You get SERIOUSLY limited space here for attachments.

Noise starts around 2 seconds in, sounds like a can of marbles. Need the speakers turned up a bit to hear it.
