Oh, sweet. I'll give that a shot tomorrow whil. I'm under the truck, cause literally on my way up to the shop my abs and brake light stayed on and the speedo started acting up, so I'm replacing the sensor on the diff tomorrow, unless you think it could be something else

post them to an external photo hosting site, such as photobucket.com and then put the links to them on here. Its much easier.

Size: 70.9 KBtook off the pin and castle nut at frame end, used 7/8 with a half inch breaker bar. You could keep the nut on to prevent the bar from dropping when you separate the ball joint, but i just took it off

next i loosened the bolt at the axle end of the bar, once again half inch breaker bar but 18mm socket.

to separate the ball joint from the frame i just used a pickle fork and a BFH (mine was a sledge with a weight on it lol) once the pickle fork can't take it out any more just wiggle it around, the ball joint should come out

here is the old track bar and new one, my old bar needed a little persuasion with the sledge to come out on the axle end

I put the axle end in first, didn't have room to put a come along to pull to the passenger side. This is a hole on the frame near the bumper

just another picture of where the come along comes out. You will need to do this, unless you're on a completely flat surface

this was how i put my ball joint in the frame. Wasn't a big fan of hitting it in with the sledge, then torqued the axle bolt to 130 ft/lbs and the ball joint nut to 80ft/lbs. It's 70 stock but the moog bar calls for it tighter

To get mind to line up, I just had a friend lean on the truck a bit... worked great.

Yeah that would work too, but i was on such an uneven surface it didn't work too well with someone pushing. I just had to use a come along

I have had lose steering, and wandering from a worn track Barr. But only once experienced a death wobble. It was a 98 3500 with the dually. I checked everything several times, but last I pulled both steering stabilizers down (shocks) and found the upper one weak. Replaced it, and made it years without the death wobble ever showing again. Almost wore it all out finding every bump, and hole to test it after. All good.
Just something to look at. It may help
