Can anyone tell me the year from the casting number on the block of a 90s or2000s model dodge ram the number is a s or a 5 3020006.360

I believe there should be a date code cast into the block as well....

Usually the casting date is on the drivers side, just above the freeze plugs. it is in standard format, mm.dd.yy

The casting code is basically just a part number. I do believe those are the same for all blocks of the same displacement. (maybe minor changes over its production life.
