did you put a 2in lift on the offroad? or did it come like that. Because the off road editions effectively come with a 2 in lift from factory with 33s and 4.10 gears. So elaborate on that?

What is your goal for the truck? off road? power? mpg? if your only goal is to get better mpg just give up now. It will never justify the money. Now if you want to get more power or a better running engine you can do those things and get some mpg as a bonus. how many miles you got on your truck? how does it run as it is right now?

80k is nothing on these magnums. i have 150 psi across the board at 220k. just dont overheat the engine and crack the heads youll get another 100k easy.

^+1 I'm at 175K+ and running sweet... hardly uses any oil (maybe a quart every 3K).

Do the plenum, as it will need doing.
When you're in there, put in a good timing change, and a water pump.
Do plugs, wires, & cap as general maintenance.
You're about ready for a cat... and change the O2 sensors with it.
Beyond 100K I'd do the crank position sensor (it won't realy show obvious signs of deterioration, but you will benefit from a new one)... and you should change, or at least clean the intake sensors.
As insurance, I'd fit the TC Saver.
Your front brakes should be coming due soon (mine did 97K)... rears lasted me to ~140K.

I've done A/C evaporator core, shocks, clutch, and the stuff mentioned above...other than that, I'm on all original driveline parts... no uni or tie-rod end issues.

The gears weren't a mod. They came with the truck. And as far as lift, I added 3" coils to net 1" over stock ORE and 2" AAL in the rear. My goal for my truck is to have a sound, capable, good looking rig. Not trying to do anything extreme with it as far as off road or power. Mpg was never my goal when I got my Ram haha, a little more would be nice, but I'm not expecting more than maybe 1mpg with my plenum fixed, seeing as I just did a tune up a month ago. I have been keeping up to date with all the maintanance on her since I got her as far as everything that was listed I have already addressed them all I was trying to hear from you guys was what are some things I can do to better my truck, without costing an arm and a leg, considering I dont plan to make it a mud truck, or rock crawler, or drag truck haha. I appreciate all the input though!

you got some pretty good answers. Nothing is cheap anymore. But. When You start changing things upgrade them. Most aftermarket upgrades cost the same as a stock part (well maybe a little more but the stock part replacement cost makes you feel better when you upgrade something). Bottom line is this. Look at your budget set aside money and add what you can to your intent level. As mine. My motor is blown. Crazy cousin blowed the motor after having my truck for two weeks. So I'm getting a stroker. 2000 for a stock rebuild. 2600 hundred for a stroker rebuild. No replacement for displacement. See the idea.

Thefiremon,
If you're building a stroker engine, I've got some 2.02 Odessa heads that are available in the User Classifieds section. PM me if interested.
