well it seems to differ I think. some guys say they can go 120...some say 110. But as for my 2001 ram it shuts off at 115 mph everytime. the rev limiter is around 5,500 rpms on my rig too.

If you did not know I own a Dakota RT now you do. This is my personal ride. It is a 99 RC Dakota RT I call the Blue Blast. As you can see it is a serious effort and showcases the extremely talented people TheFastman.com is affiliated with. It was designed locally by TNT Specialties one of the premier chassis builders in MN. It was built to compete in King Street competition. With well over 1000 HP Supercharged Small Block Mopar under the hood we fully expect to be in the 8 second range. It is still under construction with an expected completion date around May to debut at Mopars in the Park if all goes well. More to come as things progress. I look forward to a very fun and fast year.

my wife had an asthma attack one night and we left her stuff at home so i got to open the dodge up. about 110-115. my old '93 dakota 3.9mag 5 speed on the other hand has seen 125 many a times. it has a rev limiter, never shut off as far as speed just redline. also can't tell you how many mustang gt's i've smoked in that little dak.

I have had my truck up around 110 following a little ricer down HW 290 coming back from Houston. I agree those little Rangers need some steriods or somthin and remember Found On Road Dead
