Default 1996 Ram SLT 1500 5.2L - Trying to identify some plugs

I tried researching, to no avail, so hopefully I didn't miss anything...

I was underneath my truck earlier, looking for unused plugs for an ambient temperature sensor or foglights. I want to see if I could retrofit the overhead console and lights.

I didn't have any luck with the ambient temp sensor, but I found these two under the radiator support. I'm not 100% on what they'd control, however. Any ideas?

What's the wire colors on those? They may be the connectors you are looking for.

Oval-shaped one appears to be black and two light blues(didn't notice any stripe), the bulkier one is black and black/white stripe.

The three pin connector is indeed for fog lights.

Where is the oval shaped connector located?

More towards the drivers side.

I'm glad to hear it's wired for fogs!

Ok, oval connector (three pin) is fogs, you need the harness that goes between that one, and the lights themselves, plus the lights..... I think others have found that the harness in the dash for the switch is a separate piece though, or, just hard to find....

Where is the two pin connector at?

Got it. I've read that the harness for the switch may or may not be there as well, hopefully I have luck with it when I look. Thank you!

The two-pin connector is towards the passenger side of the truck. It's directly across from the oval connector.
