Default Front crank seal

Can someone tell me what all has to be removed to replace front crank seal. I don't own a pulley maybe autozone loan but have most other tools. I appreciate ya'lls help.. have a big sludge build up right at the bottom of HB.. I think what I should be asking is the size of the HB bolt, I just locate the manual removal and insulation procedures, are they pretty accurate?

I think i used a 1 1/4" for the HB bolt on an impact gun. you will need a pulley puller mine was 7 1/2" puller.

So, Fan shroud and fan clutch (maybe id have to go look), belt, crank pulley, Harmonic Balancer and you should be able to get at it from below. The shops around here quoted me at 1.5hrs labor, so i cant imagin much has to come off

It's not very much to pull off. Two reservoirs, Fan clutch, shroud, belt, and HB. Use the chrysler HB puller from Autozone. If you have deep grooves in the HB shaft you may want to use the repair sleeve kit.

Before you remove anything you want to break the fan clutch nut loose. If you don't have the right spanner wrench you can just thread a coat hanger thru the hole on the fan clutch pulley and wrap it up around the alternator to hold it from turning when you break the nut loose.

Ok.. I will try that cause I don't have that spanner wrench unless I get loaner from autozone.

thanks

I just put a big wrench on the nut, (either a crescent, or pipe wrench) and smack the end with a hammer a couple times. Hasn't failed me yet.

ok, I was just now investigating this thanks for the tips I really appreciate it. This thing seems to leak in one part of my driveway thank another and its on a very slight incline. Now Im thinkn g about the leak on the driveway..hmm it doesn't seem like heavy dirty oil..seems like a lighter oil..might be from somewhere else. just something else I might have to look for. thanks again.
