Take pics. Upload to photobucket. Copy the 'image' code it gives you under the pic, paste that into your post. Image should show up.

General aviation? Thats cool! i tightened the bolts up just enough to hold the collector and flange together and let it sit like that for 30 minutes then i torqued it down. on the bottle it says to let it sit for a day for full cure but i waited 12 hours ( i was off to work yesterday by the time you had asked about how long i let the permatex sit). But the permatex didnt help at all?
if the headers came with donut looking gaskets i would guess they go on, try and get a picture of them like HeyYou said. what headers did you get? figure i can google them and see the end of the collector.

Here is what they are, like i said old headers didn't have them, then again they leaked so bad i might not have noticed the leak there. without them it still fits snug. plus i'm not even sure the bolts would be long enough for the flange with those on too. they're the stainless hedman shorties. And heyyou if you want to take my FAA exams for me that would be great! lol i remember reading somewhere too that they only had donut gasket pre 97 or 98, but i've never confirmed this

Those are gaskets. Install them, and I bet your leaks go away.
