Default 04' 5.7 Hemi To 12' 5.7 Hemi

What do you have to do to put a 2012 5.7l hemi into a 04' dodge ram 1500, It has a blown up 5.7 in it now and we are wanting to swap it out for a newer one. Do we have to swap the tranny too?

Thanks man I really aprreciate it.

Bolts that mount a flex plate are shorter. Bolts that mount a flywheel are longer.

The bolts are for basically any small block mopar 318, 360, 340 and stuff.

Ask in the third gen section by starting your own thread, instead of hijacking someone elses, in the wrong section.

Ah okay I gotcha, when I picked up the tranny, tcase, ds's and all the stuff it came with a bucket of bolts, I'm not sure which are which but I'm sure one set of them are the flywheel bolts.

The 130 tooth seems to be for 92 and older engines. I also note they have them for one-piece rear main seals. Something I personally haven't seen on a magnum engine..... I do believe you want the 143 tooth, for two-piece rear main.
