What do you have to do to put a 2012 5.7l hemi into a 04' dodge ram 1500, It has a blown up 5.7 in it now and we are wanting to swap it out for a newer one. Do we have to swap the tranny too?

Ah okay I gotcha, when I picked up the tranny, tcase, ds's and all the stuff it came with a bucket of bolts, I'm not sure which are which but I'm sure one set of them are the flywheel bolts.
I'm looking at flywheels and see two different, 143t and 130t? I looked through the forum and I saw someone say I can use both, but that doens't seem right to me..?
The 130 tooth seems to be for 92 and older engines. I also note they have them for one-piece rear main seals. Something I personally haven't seen on a magnum engine..... I do believe you want the 143 tooth, for two-piece rear main.
Hmm.. my dad has a 130 tooth flywheel I want to take, he said he used it on his 1967 273 small block. He said he has a 143 but thats on his 1966 383 big block.
