96 Shouldn't even have EGR....... I don't think....... mine just had a block off plate where the valve would go, and no provision on the exhaust manifold for the tube. I never see an egr code either.... no extra connectors under the hood... etc.

I went through all 3 ECMs and the only code they all pull up is the #32 besides the 97 ECM; it pulled up #32 and #42 and the only one that runs the truck is the 97 ECM still. So im lost at this point.

Ouch.

32 is EGR..... You shouldn't even HAVE EGR......

42 is ASD relay. THAT is enlightening.

Do you get spark, and fuel pressure on the 96 ECM's?

#42 I checked the ASD relay; it was a lil corroded on the ends of the relay and put a spare one in , nothing changed and I think the #32 is poppin up cause of the ****ty exhaust (o2 readings off) or the charcoal canister line is not connected from the fuel pump ( not positive on that one) because I dont have a CEL on either of the ECMs. Those codes dont throw the CEL on. Startin to think I do need to flash the ECM since it controls the ignition timing and yes I have checked both fuel and spark.

I dont have a scope handy either ahah. No scanner or scope (professional I know ) only thing I did to check the injectors was the injector tester where I can fire them manually ( which they all did ) and the light diode test on each of the injector connectors ( and they all lit up )

Got a fuel pressure gauge? Can you manually fire an injector, and see fuel pressure drop?

If you have spark at the plugs, and the injectors are firing..... it *should* run.... unless it is dumping too much/not enough gas.......

Will it start if you feed it a little gas down the TB, and crank it?
