Default Best progammer?

I have a 2001 ram 1500 Sport 5.9L 4X4 with flowmasters no cat, kegger mod, and drop in k&n. running 285 dunne gapper. 13MPG. 150,000 miles on her.

I am looking for a really good progammer for my truck that will help a little on gas and more take off power. My truck just seem slow. i was looking at Edge evolution cs 85150 for the fact i just dont plug it in and throw it in the glove box. and it does read outs of temps and MPG. Im about to move for S.C. to M.O. and im hoping this will help with the cost of driving there.

SCT tuner would be the best tuner you can get, may not be the cheapest but it's the best. Takes care of the death flash you have and torque management. Also Sean at Hemifever does custom tuning just in case you ever need it, other wise you'll get 3 can tunes when you buy a SCT.

285's and 3.55 gears don't help either.

Decide what tires you REALLY want to end up with before you decide on gear ratio. That is a project that you only wanna do once. It ain't cheap. If you can do the work yourself, that helps a lot. (but still, something I would only want to do once.) For the 285's, 4.10 is certainly where its at.

Get your tuner from Hemifevertuning.com.

If you buy the tuner, the 3 can tunes are already pre-programmed but for a $100 more you can get custom tunes for what ever needs you have.

From what I seen the 3 programs that come on it is for more octane. Can they do one for just Horse power or torque. With out bumping up the octane in the fuel
