Probably NOT what you want to hear, but that is exactly what was wrong with mine. My O/D light would go off, then the trans temp light would come on. TC slippage was diagnosed as the problem.

Here is the rub, no trans shops will change just the TC. You will pay $800-900 for that and then if something else goes they will not stand behind their warranty. So they'll want to do a complete rebuild, or put in a reman trans.

Hopefully yours is something else. Mine, with the same symptom wast the TC. The good news is that you can't really hurt anything by driving it. It will just get horrible gas mileage without OD. Eventually the TC or trans will go though.

Good luck.

Think I might call the parts store, see if they can look up what part they sold you there, and verify it is correct.

If it is, your trans is overheating for some reason. Blocked cooler would be my first guess, since you already nuked the check valve.

P0445 Evap Emission Sys Purge Ctrl Valve Circ Shorted <- This one is unrelated, and a separate problem.

P1740 TCC or O/D Solenoid Perf<- this may or may not be related. Have you cleared the codes since you changed the electronics? (I see this one fairly regularly, but, my trans shifts fine, TCC and O/D both work great.)

Yes cleared them, and I have one other thing when I changed the electronics there was this spacer on the pan acted as a gasket the trans parts place I bought my stuff from gave me a regular gasket I asked him if that spacer made a differencer(1 in thick roughly) and he said no so I didn't put it back on would that cause the trans to act up?

A spacer on the pan? Now that's something I haven't seen before.....

Was there a spacer on the filter as well?

Maybe with out the spacer the transmission isn`t getting enough transmission fluid flow through the filter (just a guess). Try putting the spacer back on and see if that makes a difference. It was there for a reason.

I'm with Ram Driver here..... could be the filter is getting stuffed into the bottom of the pan now, so, not getting enough flow. (not sure if that would make the fluid hotter though.... but hey, ya never know. )

I don't think the spacer is stock, mine sure doesn't have one.
