Default Headers!!!

Hey everyone,
It has been a LONG time since I have been on, Lot has happened in a few years. Big blue died 2 years ago and now I am getting around to rebuilding him.
My question anyone on here that has a 2500 3/4 ton heavy duty ram, have long tube headers on? what brand are they ? where did you get them?

So far everyone is telling me that only shorty headers for my frame, I call BS on that.
Just ordered hughes efi air gap, and the modified throttle body, new heavy duty heads 2.02 valves and a mild port job on them, Just got the block back from being punched 30 over.

I don't want shorty headers, Has anyone tried fitting 1500 header on a 2500 3/4 ton heavy duty? please chime in.

I'm running JBA shorties and love them, as they fit perfectly. Since you already purchased a good intake and heads and have bored the block .030 over, have you considered adding a stroker kit to take the motor out to 408? If so, that will turn those big tires and 4.56 gears effortlessly.

Pacesetter makes long tubes for your truck. Is your truck a true heavy duty? If so it will have duel cats and two 02 sensors per side.

I don't think there is that much difference in frames between half, and 3/4 ton trucks. Maybe boxed further back, but, that's gonna be about it. The pacesetter long tubes should go in there just fine.

Moparite I called Pacesetter and they are the ones that told me that they don't make a set headers for my truck, and yes my truck is a true heavy duty. I ordered it that way back in 1995. I figured someone had to have tried to install or installed long tube 1500 model headers on a 2500 heavy duty

HeyYou, yes that is what i'm thinking also, well it will be only 250 bucks spent if they don't work, If I still lived back home in the north east I could bend up my own headers, but because I live down south now i'm not going to buy a mandrel tubing bender just for this one job. ( not worth it ) I am thinking I might have to modify them a little to work which is ok. Since I have my 2 welders, torches, and cutting supplies. Really didn't want to go to that extreme but I really want long tubes on.

Im betting they will fit. They probably say no because your truck is a 95' so it should have egr, and they didn't care to check for figment issues on a 2500 themselves.

The only main difference is the frame may interfere with them. Might want to see if you can more details out of them.

Moparite,
I just ordered them yesterday with the off road Y pipe, we shall see if they fit or I have to do some custom fitting of my own
