When mine blew, I was moving back north and pulling in to a hotel overnight when I hear "bzzzz....pop!" followed by an acrid odor of burning electronics. I figured as long as the truck wasn't on fire, I was okay. Got to my folks' place the next day and replaced the resistor and all has been well. This was in 2012. Though I suppose the best way is to replace the motor too, mine is still working fine.

When I got my truck the only setting that was working was 1, replaced that resistor and now I no longer have an "All or Nothing " blower lol. Although I only get heat on settings 1 and 2 now, 3 and four seem to just blow cold air when its idling any ideas?
