Default 2001 dodge ram high beam issue

My driver side headlights didn't work. The passenger side does. I have replaced the bulb and the connector to the bulb. All fuses are in great shape. Where should I go from there? I have 12 volts at the connector to the bulb for both the high beam wire and low beam wire.

Check the ground on the connector for continuity

If it was the ground wouldn't that kill both low and high beam on the one side seeing that it's only one wire use to ground???

When my high beams are on if I pull the 15amp fuse to the head lamp the left will start to glow dim and the right will dim

Switch provides ground path. Is your truck a sport model?

are we talking about a bad MFS or a bad main switch (off/park/headligh)?

The headlight switches in these trucks are notorious for causing some interesting issues. May not hurt to pull it out, and have a look at the wiring there.
