Might try to sandwich weld it on both sides if I can find some metal good enough

And my welder is the cheap one
From what i can see it looks like a small mig. ??? Shielding wire or gas? How may amps? You need to clean off all the rust and crap to bare metal before you try to weld it. If you welder is a small amp (shielding wire) type i doubt it will be enough to get enough penetration. The shielding wire type isn't as good as argon gas. Also need the amps to get good weld. If yours aint up to the task you may be able to wrap it with bailing wire and drive it (slowly!) to someone with a decent welder. You don't want this to break again. Not safe!

I'm trying to weld on some metal plates to see if it will hold. I only have a 110v welder. I plow so I have to fix it today for the storm tonight so I'm gonna try anything I can to get it tough enough. For now I'm trying sandwich welding plates over the broken spot. Seems to be holding the one side I got done before I ran out of welding wire
