Default drilling front pinion bolt hole?

Ok so I've slowly been piecing this thing back together & now with new t case in.I go to hook up the front driveshaft but when I grab the t straps I notice 1 of the bolt holes on my front pinion yoke @ differential it too big.Ofcurse the part is expensive & I just spent 7 grand in the past 2 weeks so I'm about busted. Can I just drill the hole out, use a longer bolt & add a nut to the backside? Let me know please.

It's not the strap it's the part the strap bolts to, that the hole is too big the front pinion

Helicoil it! There is another brand out there to i think it's called re-coil. Some kit's come with the drill bit. Just make sure you have the drill bit before you buy it.

Why? They work just fine if you do it right. If drill it out and can put a nut on the back it may unbalance it enough to feel it while driving.

Is it all messed up or do you just have the wrong bolts.

So one of your holes is stripped out. Could just replace the yoke...... Though at advance its 120 bucks..... but, that would be fixing it "right"™, which I highly recommend.
