Buying new lift need help

Blocks are stock in the back. They are taller on the heavier trucks. (and wider too)
Off-Road package was an option. If you have it, it will be listed, if it isn't listed, you don't have it.
Sport package was just an appearance package. Body color bumpers, and grill, etc. No mechanical differences at all. (after 98.5 model year, there were a LOT more cosmetic differences though.....)

ORE trucks came with 4.10 gears, trussed Dana 44, red "HD" shocks, 17" alloy wheels, skid plates, special badging, and a factory 2" lift height over regular 4x4s. The reason companies say their kits "don't fit" is because you are replacing the springs up front with their "stock" 3" replacements so the difference in height is only 1" which is hardly noticeable. Furthermore, if you put their block in the rear, it will raise it as advertised but the front springs will not match the rear. It will look like a funny car. Also, blocks came standard on all trucks in the rear with the only difference being the number of leafs. It sounds as though you do not have the ORE so just get whatever lift you want. I recommend an AAL for the rear to add load capacity and help the sagging and aging leafs.
Please remember that all the add a leafs, air bags, and helper spring DO NOT increase load capacity. It just helps keep the load leveled and from sagging. If does not mean you can haul 5 thousand pounds in the Bed.

do you know of any lifts that comes with leaf springs instead of blocks? I want to go 3 inches so any 3 inch lift with leaf springs would be perfect. also if the lift came with add on leafs would I leave or remove the factory blocks?

Skyjacker provides AAL in their kits. That's what I used for my 3" lift. And I know AAL doesn't legally allow for any more load capacity than was provided by the manufacturer as listed on the door stickers. What I mean is the added leaf aids in the capability of handling the load as it can stabilize a load better and not squat or squirrel around so bad as the stock leaf pack did. I just have a few hundred pounds in my truck at any given time and it helped greatly to give it a more planted feel. Also, the front springs are leaps and bounds over the squishy stock springs that bottomed out on every driveway approach.
