it still does it from time to time. im fairly certain its the fuel regulator.

Still the stock pump? Or have you replaced it? (if so, what brand?)

yes im sure it is since this issue started after i put the airtex in. but as long as its working... ill leave it in there.
at some point ill pick up a densi pump and leave it in the truck. when the airtex fails, drop the tank and switch it out. hopefully not when the tank is full of course

Oh come on. You KNOW that fuel pumps only fail on a full tank.

it is funny how it works out like that huh? lol who knows, maybe one day ill feel ambitious and just do the job and take the airtex back to advanced auto and beg for a refund lol fingers crossed

For certain values of 'funny' in any event.

I just got used to it when I was doing that kind of thing for a living..... I even stopped asking the customers how much gas was in it... just assumed a full tank. More often than not, I was correct.
