Default Warmer weather causing long crank?

Spring is here. This last week it's been nice out, 60-75 degrees. I start to the truck at 6:15 every morning. Fires right up. I Park it and don't start it again til 9:30, it will long crank. Park it from 9:45-11:20 and when i turn the key it she long cranks. I should note that if I shut the truck down and turn it back on it fires up just fine. It seems to be when I let her sit in the heat of day for a period of time, she long cranks.
am I looking at a bad sensor here? A buddy said the crank sensor is to blame but I can't locate the darn thing behind the block. Any help is appreciated as always.
And I know...another long crank thread! lol

Like turn the key and it cranks for 3-6 seconds and finally will sputter to life. Once it's running, no issues. Reaches operating temperature and functions 100 percent.

Fuel pressure bleed, perhaps? What happens if you turn the key to On for a few seconds at a time when you expect slow starting, then back to Off, and then try a few second after that to start it as usual?

The crank sensor is a shy creature one can find only by really wanting to find it, and approaching it carefully.

Do what unregistered user says. Cycle the key to on, wait a couple seconds. Then cycle it back off and repeat this a few times. Then start it up like normal. If it starts fine then the fuel pump regulator is not keeping the line pressurized.

Must be that ghost trailer you're pulling causing ghostly things to happen

Though it does sound like fuel pressure, I'm a little skeptical he's bleeding fuel pressure that fast during the day, when sitting overnight he says it fires right up in the morning. If that were the problem I would think he'd be having starting issues in the morning too. Try folding your mirrors down
Maybe MAF sensor on the fritz?

Maybe he parks downhill at home? Haha I forgot about that part.

Still, worth a try.

below is a video of the condition i explained. at night i park on level ground. it fires right up with no hesitation and no issues. its only when it is warmer outside and sits for a period of time.
