Warmer weather causing long crank?

i replaced the fuel pump with a airtex unit close to a year ago.
the problem is, i dont have the know how to diagnose this myself and i also dont want a shop to play doctor on it and charge the hell out of me.
i can say that this issue started after i put that airtex pump in and got worse when i put a new purge solenoid, blew the lines out and also put a new vapor canister on too.
maybe this additional info will help you guys point me in the right direction.

delphi it is. cant be worse than the airtex.
so based off the information ive given, you think its safe to go head and replace the pump? or should i take it to a shop and tell them specifically to check the fuel pump?
id rather not spend money i dont need to spend. i know however without testing its hard to say for sure.
